Maithili Kasar Parikh takes pride in teaching the art of Bharatanatyam at her studio, Natanam, founded by her father, Guru Nana Kasar. Being fortunate to be raised as a daughter disciple, she understands the importance to train her students within the tenets of a Gurukulam, where students and the teacher are a family, teaching and learning are everyday activity.

In following her father's footsteps, Maithili endeavors to vivify the art amongst young aspirants through her training. She has successfully presented the rich choreographies and ideas of her father through her numerous performances, classes, lecture demonstration, and workshops; retaining the strict and creative Pandanallur style of Bharatanatyam and yet adhering to natural flow of body movements, Shareer Dharma.
